I’m sure some of you recognize these Instagram pics from this past summer at the Jersey shore. I grew up spending every summer there, and still do. Unfortunately, following hurricane Sandy, I don’t think it will look quite this beautiful again for a very long time.
This past weekend I volunteered with cleanup efforts for those affected by the storm and donated lots of clothing too. The damage that I saw first hand was just awful, but amazingly the spirit of hope in New York and New Jersey is still going strong!
