Cool Compression Gear! Train Smarter!

New year new gear! I’ve been testing out some cool new workout pieces, especially for all the running that I do, to help enhance my training. This fun and funky compression gear from SKINS is a game changer when it comes to increasing endurance and performance. How, you ask? Keep reading! And you can use my code NYCPRETTY20 for a discount too!

Wearing compression gear helps to increase blood flow and oxygen that’s being sent to your muscles, so you can workout longer with more power and speed! For me, this is a BIG WIN since I usually go for an hour-long run at least 3 to 4 times a week. And, even though I try to keep up with strength training on alternate days (squats, leg presses, calf raises, lunges, etc.) running can def. take a toll on the bod. So if I can wear a legging that helps me recover faster and gives me more stability and body control, I’m on board! Not to mention, they come in super fun prints and poppy colors for when I want to be noticed, and sleek black options for more chic days.

I’m also digging the high waist with a soft elastic band to help prevent slipping during high intensity workouts. There’s nothing worse than going on a long run and halfway through, my leggings start to creep down. Definitely NOT the case with SKINS!

I usually wear my workout gear all day long, from errands to workouts, so it’s great when I can rock something that’s made of durable, high-end fabrics that are flattering AND comfortable. Plus, quick-dry technology keeps me feeling fresh, and we all LOVE that!

Whether I’m running in Central Park or busting out one of my go-to sweat-seshes, I feel fired up with the extra support and benefits of compression gear. Check it out and don’t forget to use my discount code NYCPRETTY20!
