#NYFW Cynthia Rowley Skating in the Streets!

New York Fashion Week flew by in a flash! I popped into a few of my fave shows and events (as you might have seen on my insta stories) but wanted to share a recap of trends and excitement here on the blog too! Every season I make sure the Cynthia Rowley show is on my cal ’cause it’s always a fun, fab event… and fashion should be fun, right? Well, this season did not disappoint! HINT: There was skating in the streets! READ ON!

I dressed up in my most colorful Cynthia Rowley pieces and hit the streets to see the show! This particular season was soooo up my alley because like me, Cynthia is super active. She escapes the city on summer weekends to hit the beach to surf and soak in the sun! Sound familiar? Ha! A girl after my own heart. This season her collection really showed her girly/athletic vibe using real female Roller Derby skaters performing to show-off the clothing!

Women of all different shapes, ages, and races skated on the city streets outside her showroom in flowy flirty frocks, fun floral printed pieces, groovy wide leg pants, patch-work prints and poppy gingham patterns for a knockout presentation! And we can’t forget about her signature surf and swim pieces (my faves). I have a few of her bold bright wetsuits and rashguards that I LIVE in during the summer. This season she added a super sexy lightweight neoprene mini tube dress! Genius!

Had a blast experiencing such a groovy event! Embracing real women having fun and looking fab while breaking a sweat! Now that’s my kind of fashion show!
