I recently got to hang with two of Roxy’s pro surfers, Kelia Moniz and Monyca Wickey, to get deets on how I could stay in tip-top surfer shape during the cold winter months in NYC. “The main goal is to stay lean and mean without bulking up too much,” said Monica. “Be sure to keep your core strong, that is where your power comes from. Lunges are great for keeping legs toned and powerful, while cardio helps build up endurance.” Good pointers girls—noted!!!
After our mini workout we got to chill and chat in the park for a bit. It was a super inspiring day all around! Can’t wait to paddle out with them this summer! Peace-out lovelies!
