It’s PUMPKIN SEASON!!! So I’ve got another sweeeeet tasting recipe from my go-to smoothie sister, Sophie, from ThePhilosophie.com. I’m loving all the delish and nutrish creations she’s been sharing with us (here and here), but this one takes the cake! LITERALLY, it tastes like PUMPKIN CAKE BATTER!!! And she’s given us two variations to choose from (one with pluots and one with persimmons)— both equally delicious! I know what you’re thinking… what’s a pluot? I asked myself the same question. Well, it’s a tasty hybrid between a plum and an apricot. And persimmons are sweet, honey flavored, yummy fruits. There’s also lots of fiber in this bowl, so even though it tastes like dessert, it’s packed with nutrients so your bod will feel happy and fulfilled after eating. Check out the full recipe below!
What You’ll Need:
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 frozen banana
- 2 pluots or persimmons
- 1 tbsp Green Bee Honey
- 1 tbsp Coconut Dream Coconut Butter
- 2 tbsp Berry Bliss
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 1/2 cup organic pumpkin puree
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
Mix all ingredients in a high-speed blender.
Cutting open and scooping out the contents of a pumpkin to use it as your cup is totally optional but highly recommended.
